Upon the retirement of two-term trustee Jon Lewis, on 1 May 2019 the voters of the town of Boothbay overwhelmingly elected Alan Bellows to his first term as trustee representing the rate payers of Boothbay, Trevett & East Boothbay.
This year the board bid farewell to incredibly long tenured trustee and Chairman of the Board, Harry Pinkham who, after serving effectively on the board for 59-years, has decided to kick back and enjoy life. To replace the living icon who is Harry, on 3 May 2019 the voters of Boothbay Harbor elected Merritt Blakeslee to his first term as trustee.
During the town meeting in March the voters of Southport re-elected Gerald “Gerry” Gamage to a third term as trustee. All of the newly elected trustees terms begin on 14 May 2019 and will run through 1 May 2022.
